Skillet is one of my favorite bands. Their songs always make sense to life. 'Would It Matter' is one of those songs that makes sense to life. The song means to me that he's sinned and knows he's done wrong and wants to be a better. He's trying to ask for God's forgiveness and doesn't think he'll get it because he's done wrong. He's also looking at life and wondering what everyone would think if he was gone. Anyone can relate to this song because sometimes everyone has bad days or does something wrong and doesn't want to live with the regret of doing it anymore.

Maggie, I agree that almost anybody can relate to this. We all make mistakes and sometimes we just dont need people reminding us of then. I feel like he is asking forgiveness but not just from God. Everyone deserves a second chance.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very good song that has a strong message. I think that it is great that you put the lyrics as well as giving what you think the message is. I think that this song will have a different meaning for everyone and that is a good it's a song that is full of meaning for everyone.
